The main character of the film is PK, a sports-fanatic single father. PK, an old man, is lonely but does not see it since he is only living for his two sons, both of whom are boxers. The reason for PKs loneliness lies in his past that he does not talk about. It has been forgotten and become a taboo. But can one just forget and start living through another person without losing oneself? About the size of a block of buildings, Blue Corner is a small portrayal of a community on the edge of the boxing world. It is a tragicomedy about how the past lives in all of us whether we want it or not and how capriciously it can lift its head and send us off the rails. All the characters in the film are living on the verge of a big change. But how can you change without giving up anything? Why do people confuse giving up something with giving up altogether?
