Two prizes to Tatu Pohjavirta´s animation film Animal in Angers

Tatu Pohjavirta´s puppet animation Animal (Elukka, 2005, 28 min.) received two prizes at Angers´ Premiers Plans Festival in France.

Director Pohjavirta received the Audience Prize and the band behind the music of Animal, Alamaailman Vasarat, received the Prize for Best Music. Animal was screened in the series of European short films.

Premiers Plans Festival focuses on European debute films. It took place on January 20 – 29, 2006.

Animal has been produced by Elokuvaosuuskunta Camera Cagliostro / Jyrki Kaipainen.
