Beat the soft butter and sugar in a mixing bowl, until light. Add the egg. Mix together the flour and baking powder and add to the butter-sugar-egg mixture. Stir into a smooth batter. Place the batter in the fridge until it is cool.
Roll the batter into a thin bar on a floured baking board, and cut into 8 - 9 cm long pieces. Roll the pieces in a sugar-cinnamon mixture, and then form the pieces in "S" shapes. Place them on a baking tray, which is covered with a greaseproof paper and bake at 200 degrees Celsius for approximately 10 minutes. |
